As per the demand of time, we are being more determinant towards  Technology and being digitally active, which enhances our dependency on them. with increases in usages of media and Technology rate of Cybercrimes also increases.

someone said it well  'a modern theft can damage more by a click than a gun and a terrorist attack more efficiently by keyboard than a bomb'.

data thefting is not a new concept but this concept spreading its roots, data can be theft from anywhere from PCs and computers to bank details.

In 2017 zomato claims  and survived data thefting, In 2016 more than 30lakh  debit card information was leaked. Wannacry, ransomware and many are examples of data theft, where they hack computers and personal details and demand money.

if we talk about India, India has  14-15%  of the digital economy and beliefs say it will be 20% by 2024, which is one-fifth of the economy.

Data is the new fuel,  No country skip an opportunity to access personal details of another country by thefting modern fule, 35% of attacks on Indian sites done by China, America, Russia, Pakistan follows. with the concern of security, the Government of India blocked access to 59 apps on 29th June. Another 118 on 2nd September and recently on 26 November, 43 more apps were blocked in India by the government under IPC section 69A IT Act 2000.

AI, Machine learning, clouds, things of the internet, increase the rate of data thefting. if you take the example of cloud computing, so many countries and companies store their data in the clouds due to a storage purpose, and companies vow security but security is always on a stack.
